Incident Summary:

07/16/2017: A suicide bomber detonated an explosive-laden vehicle near Syrian Army soldiers in eastern Homs city, Syria. Following the blast, additional assailants then attacked the soldiers. At least 30 soldiers were killed or injured and there were an unknown number of assailants casualties in the incident. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources attributed the attack to the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL).
