Incident Summary:

07/08/2017: Assailants abducted 28 Sunni refugees in Jurf al-Sakhar, Babil, Iraq. At least 20 hostages were killed as of July 12, 2017 while the fate of the remaining hostages is unknown. No group claimed responsibility; however, authorities arrested Asa'ib Ahl al-Haqq members in connection with the attack. Sources also attributed the incident to Kata'ib Hezbollah.
