Incident Summary:
06/29/2017: Assailants, including suicide bombers, equipped with explosives-laden vehicles, explosives-laden drones, and firearms, attacked al-Sinaa neighborhood in Raqqah, Syria. There were an unknown number of casualties in the ensuing clash with Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) members. This was one of two coordinated incidents in different Raqqah neighborhoods on the same day. The Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) claimed responsibility for the attacks.
