06/11/2017: Assailants raided Tunyan, Borno, Nigeria. This was one of two coordinated attacks on villages in the area on this date. At least five people were killed and ten people were injured across both assaults. Additionally, six people were abducted in this attack, and the outcome of the kidnapping is unknown. No group claimed responsibility for the incidents; however, sources attributed the attacks to Boko Haram.

Criteria
Criteria 1
The act must be aimed at attaining a political, economic, religious, or social goal. In terms of economic goals, the exclusive pursuit of profit does not satisfy this criterion. It must involve the pursuit of more profound, systemic economic change.
