Incident Summary:
06/02/2017: An explosives-laden vehicle detonated near Royal Thai Army soldiers behind the fisheries research and development office in Tak Bai district, Narathiwat, Thailand. At least three soldiers were injured in the blast. This was one of two coordinated attacks in Tak Bai on the same day; this first explosion was designed to draw a crowd. No group claimed responsibility for the incidents.

Criteria
Criteria 1
The act must be aimed at attaining a political, economic, religious, or social goal. In terms of economic goals, the exclusive pursuit of profit does not satisfy this criterion. It must involve the pursuit of more profound, systemic economic change.
