05/31/2017: A suicide bomber in an explosives-laden vehicle attempted to target federal police officers in Zanjili neighborhood, Mosul, Nineveh, Iraq. Security forces intercepted the vehicle which detonated, killing the assailant and 13 civilians. The Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) claimed responsibility for the incident.
