05/20/2017: Assailants abducted six Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF) members from a hunting party near Maiduguri, Borno, Nigeria. Four hostages were beheaded shortly after the kidnapping, and the fate of the remaining two hostages is unknown. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to Boko Haram.
