04/21/2017: Assailants fired mortars containing poison gas at police personnel in in Hayy ath-Thawrah neighborhood, Mosul, Nineveh, Iraq. At least one police officer was killed and 14 officers were injured in the attack. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL).
