Incident Summary:

04/03/2017: Assailants armed with firearms, projectiles, and explosive devices attacked a Royal Thai Police checkpoint in Krong Pinang, Yala, Thailand. At least 13 people, including 12 officers and one assailant, were injured in the assault. This was one of two coordinated incidents in Krong Pinang on the same day. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources attributed the attacks to Runda Kumpulan Kecil (RKK).
