03/09/2017: Assailants abducted Madvi Dula from his residence in Burkapal, Chhattisgarh, India. Dula, a former sarpanch, was killed and his body was discovered the following day on March 10, 2017. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Communist Party of India - Maoist (CPI-Maoist) and stated that the victim was accused of being a police informant.
