03/08/2017: An explosive device was discovered on March 4, 2017 and defused near the Palem irrigation project outside Rachapalli, Telangana, India. The device was thought to be targeting Indian Police Service (IPS) officers. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources attributed the incident to the Communist Party of India - Maoist (CPI-Maoist).
