Incident Summary:

02/17/2017: Assailants in Afghanistan opened fire on a Frontier Corps (FC) checkpost in Torkham, Federally Administered Tribal Areas, Pakistan. At least six assailants were killed and two soldiers were injured in the ensuing clash. The Jamaat-ul-Ahrar faction of Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) claimed responsibility for the attack.
