Incident Summary:

02/10/2017: Assailants in Afghanistan opened fire on two Pakistan Armed Forces checkposts in Aulai, Federally Administered Tribal Areas, Pakistan. At least 14 assailants were killed and one soldier was injured in the ensuing clash. The Jamaat-ul-Ahrar faction of Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) claimed responsibility for the attack.
