Incident Summary:

02/08/2017: Assailants attacked the Ajil Oilfield in Tikrit, Saladin, Iraq. This was one of two coordinated attack in Tikrit within hours of one another. Seven security forces were injured and an unknown number of assailants were killed and wounded across the two attacks. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL).
