01/29/2017: Assailants abducted Muhammad Ahmad al-Jayifi, a tribal chief, in Hamdan district, Sanaa, Yemen. Al-Jayifi was released on January 31, 2017. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to Houthi extremists (Ansar Allah)
