01/21/2017: Assailants hijacked a tobacco delivery truck in Mabileg, Ilocos Sur, Philippines. There were no reported casualties in the attack. This was one of two related hijackings in Mabileg on this date. No group claimed responsibility for the incidents; however, sources attributed the attacks to the New People's Army (NPA).
