12/25/2016: Assailants attacked a Russian Police checkpoint in Kizilyurt, Dagestan, Russia. There were no reported casualties in the incident. This was one of two similar attacks targeting checkpoints in Dagestan on the same day. The Caucasus Province of the Islamic State claimed responsibility for the incident. Sources also attributed the attack to the Khasavyurt Group.
