Incident Summary:

12/16/2016: Assailants and suicide bombers equipped with explosives-laden vehicles attacked military forces in Bawizah, Nineveh, Iraq. At least 25 assailants were killed in the assault. This was one of eight coordinated attacks in the area on the same day. No group claimed responsibility for the incidents; however, sources attributed the attacks to the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL).
