Incident Summary:

12/03/2016: An explosive device detonated and assailants opened fire targeting an Assam Rifles (AR) convoy in Nginu, Tirap, Arunachal Pradesh, India. At least two soldiers were killed and eight soldiers were injured in the attack. The National Socialist Council of Nagaland-Khaplang (NSCN-K), Kanglei Yawol Kanna Lup (KYKL), and the Kangleipak Communist Party (KCP) all claimed responsibility for the incident. Sources also attributed the attack to the United Liberation Front of Assam (ULFA).
