Incident Summary:
11/04/2016: Assailants, including a suicide bomber in an explosives-laden vehicle, attacked the district center complex in Waghaz, Ghazni, Afghanistan. At least six assailants and one police officer were killed and four officers and an unknown number of assailants were injured in the ensuing clash. In addition, a second explosives-laden vehicle was discovered and defused following the attack. The Taliban claimed responsibility for the incident.

Criteria
Criteria 1
The act must be aimed at attaining a political, economic, religious, or social goal. In terms of economic goals, the exclusive pursuit of profit does not satisfy this criterion. It must involve the pursuit of more profound, systemic economic change.

Successful Attack
Success of a terrorist strike is defined according to the tangible effects of the attack.
