10/22/2016: Assailants attacked public uprising forces in Pachir Agam, Nangarhar, Afghanistan. At least four people were killed, 13 others were injured, and 45 people were abducted during the assault. The outcome of the kidnapping is unknown. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources attributed the attack to the Khorasan Chapter of the Islamic State.
