10/17/2016: Assailants and suicide bombers attacked a prison in Koutoukale, Tillaberi, Niger. One assailant was killed and two guards were injured in the ensuing clash. The Islamic State in the Greater Sahara (ISGS) claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources also attributed the attack to the Movement for Oneness and Jihad in West Africa (MUJAO).
