10/16/2016: An unknown number of explosive devices detonated targeting security forces in Gormach, Faryab, Afghanistan. At least 12 soldiers were killed and 15 soldiers were injured in the blast. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Taliban.
