10/16/2016: Assailants attacked a Somali National Army (SNA) base in Mareerey, Lower Shebelle, Somalia. At least six people were killed and an unknown number of people were injured in the ensuing clash, in which assailants also set fire to several houses. Al-Shabaab claimed responsibility for the incident.
