Incident Summary:

10/14/2016: Assailants attacked the residence of Jeffery Woodke, an American aid worker, in Abalak, Tahoua, Niger. Two people, including a national guard member, were killed and Woodke was abducted during the attack. The outcome of the kidnapping is unknown. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Movement for Oneness and Jihad in West Africa (MUJAO).
