09/09/2016: Assailants opened fire on two fuel tankers in Loa, Eastern Equatoria, South Sudan. At least six people were killed and nine people were injured in the assault. This was one of two related attacks targeting vehicles along the same road on this date. No group claimed responsibility for the incidents; however, sources attributed the attacks to the Sudan People's Liberation Movement in Opposition (SPLM-IO).
