09/09/2016: Assailants opened fire on buses in Loa, Eastern Equatoria, South Sudan. At least eight people were killed in the assault. This was one of two related attacks targeting vehicles along the same road on this date. No group claimed responsibility for the incidents; however, sources attributed the attacks to the Sudan People's Liberation Movement in Opposition (SPLM-IO).
