Incident Summary:

08/11/2016: A suicide bomber detonated an explosives-laden motorcycle near a security checkpost in Shindand, Herat, Afghanistan. In addition to the assailant, at least five people, including two soldiers and three civilians, were killed and nine other people were injured in the blast. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Taliban.
