Incident Summary:

08/07/2016: A suicide bomber detonated an explosives-laden vehicle and other assailants attacked Al Hazm Brigade Forces in Murfid, Lahij, Yemen. In addition to the bomber, 10 soldiers were killed and 18 others were injured in the attack. Additionally, the assailants sustained an unknown number of injuries in the ensuing clash. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to Al-Qaida in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP).
