07/31/2016: A landmine detonated targeting a Shura Council of Mujahideen commander near Derna, Libya. The commander, Ahmad al-Habib, was killed and two people were wounded in the blast. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to Barqa Province of the Islamic State.
