07/01/2016: Assailants fired mortars that landed and detonated in Hawlwadaag neighborhood, Baidoa, Bay, Somalia. This was one of two projectile attacks in different neighborhoods Baidoa on this date. At least four people were killed and 20 others were injured across both incidents. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources attributed the attacks to Al-Shabaab.
