Incident Summary:
06/04/2016: Assailants attacked security forces at the Ajil oil field in Tikrit, Saladin, Iraq. At least three security members and 10 assailants were killed and 15 security members were injured in the ensuing clash. This was one of two similar attacks at oilfields in the area on the same day. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL).

Successful Attack
