Incident Summary:

06/02/2016: An explosive device detonated near the vehicle of Ghulam Jilani Kharotai along Lashkar Gah-Marjah Highway in Nad Ali, Helmand, Afghanistan. At least two people, including Kharotai, the Helmand deputy police chief, and a guard, were killed and another guard was injured in the blast. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources attributed the attack to the Taliban.
