Incident Summary:

04/26/2016: Assailants armed with projectiles and firearms attacked a Somali Armed Forces (SAF) convoy responding to an earlier incident at an SAF base in Daynunay, Bay, Somalia. At least five soldiers were killed and three others were injured in the assault. This was one of two attacks targeting soldiers in Daynunay on the same day. Al-Shabaab claimed responsibility for the incidents.
