04/24/2016: A suicide bomber detonated targeting the convoy of Saleh Mohammad Safari, a presidential adviser, in Garmsir district, Helmand, Afghanistan. In addition to the assailant, at least two people, including a tribal elder, were killed and two people were injured in the blast, though Safari was not harmed. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Taliban.
