Incident Summary:

04/22/2016: An explosive device detonated targeting police personnel in Aipi Kor, Federally Administered Tribal Areas, Pakistan. One officer was killed and one officer was injured in the blast. This was one of two related incidents in Aipi Kor on this date; a second bombing occurred when security personnel were responding to this first attack. Jamaat-ul-Ahrar, a subgroup of Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), claimed responsibility for the incidents.
