Incident Summary:

04/01/2016: Assailants, including suicide bombers, equipped with an explosives-laden vehicle attacked security forces on the Siniyah-Hadithah frontlines in Al Anbar, Iraq. Security members repelled the assault, killing 23 assailants. This was one of two coordinated attacks on the frontlines on the same day. No group claimed responsibility for the incidents; however, sources attributed the attacks to the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL).
