03/26/2016: Assailants raided Hamrin Mountains in Tikrit district, Saladin, Iraq. At least 30 assailants and one federal police officer were killed as security forces repelled the assault. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL).
