02/18/2016: Two assailants attacked Jalal Uddin with a hammer in Rochdale, England, United Kingdom. Uddin, an imam, was killed in the attack. Mohammed Syeedy and Mohammed Abdul Kadir claimed responsibility for the incident and while the specific motive is unknown sources noted that authorities discovered Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) propaganda on Syeedy's mobile phone.
