02/01/2016: Assailants opened fire on military and police personnel in Sur district, Diyarbakir province, Turkey. At least three security force members were killed and two others were wounded in the attack. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK).
