01/31/2016: Assailants fired a rocket at police and military personnel in Cudi neighborhood, Cizre district, Sirnak province, Turkey. Two people were killed and three were wounded in the attack; the victims included police officers and soldiers. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK).

Criteria 1

Successful Attack
Success of a terrorist strike is defined according to the tangible effects of the attack.
