01/15/2016: Assailants armed with explosive devices and firearms attacked a Nigerian Army (NA) base in Goniri, Yobe state, Nigeria. At least 14 assailants were killed and one soldier was injured in the ensuing clash. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources attributed the incident to Boko Haram.
