12/17/2015: Assailants fired mortars at the Zilkan Base staffed by Iraqi Volunteer Forces members and Turkish Armed Forces (TSK) soldiers in Bashiqah, Nineveh governorate, Iraq. At least three volunteer fighters were injured in the attack. The Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) claimed responsibility for the incident.
