Incident Summary:

12/17/2015: Assailants and suicide bombers equipped with an explosives-laden vehicle attacked Mukashafah, Saladin governorate, Iraq. At least five people, including three assailants, were killed, and 16 others, including nine assailants, were injured in the ensuing clash. This was one of two coordinated incidents in and around Samarra on the same day. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources attributed the attacks to the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL).
