11/29/2015: Assailants attacked residents in Bam village, Biu district, Borno, Nigeria. At least four people were killed, an unknown number of people were injured, and a number of young females were kidnapped in the raid. The outcome of the kidnapping is unknown. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to Boko Haram.

Criteria
Criteria 1
The act must be aimed at attaining a political, economic, religious, or social goal. In terms of economic goals, the exclusive pursuit of profit does not satisfy this criterion. It must involve the pursuit of more profound, systemic economic change.

Successful Attack
Success of a terrorist strike is defined according to the tangible effects of the attack.
