11/06/2015: An explosive device attached to the vehicle of Mawlawi Jilani Urfani detonated in Shamir neighborhood, Ghazni city, Ghazni province, Afghanistan. Urfani, a pro-government cleric, was killed in the blast while two others, including his son, were wounded. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Taliban.

Criteria 1
The act must be aimed at attaining a political, economic, religious, or social goal. In terms of economic goals, the exclusive pursuit of profit does not satisfy this criterion. It must involve the pursuit of more profound, systemic economic change.

Successful Attack
Success of a terrorist strike is defined according to the tangible effects of the attack.
