10/26/2015: A suicide bomber detonated an explosives-laden belt at Al-Mashhad mosque in Najran city, Najran province, Saudi Arabia. In addition to the bomber, one person was killed and 12 people were injured in the blast. The Hijaz Province of the Islamic State claimed responsibility for the incident.

Criteria
Criteria 1
The act must be aimed at attaining a political, economic, religious, or social goal. In terms of economic goals, the exclusive pursuit of profit does not satisfy this criterion. It must involve the pursuit of more profound, systemic economic change.

Success of a terrorist strike is defined according to the tangible effects of the attack.
