10/00/2015: Sometime between October 1, 2015 and October 31, 2015, assailants abducted five journalists in Deir ez-Zor, Syria. The hostages were killed sometime in December 2015. The Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) claimed responsibility for the incident.
