10/09/2015: Two assailants threw grenades and opened fire on Pascal Nshimirimana in Bujumbura city, Bujumbura Mairie province, Burundi. Nshimirimana, the chairman of the Association for the Promotion of Human Rights and Detainees' Rights and the son-in-law of a prominent human rights activist, was killed in the attack. No group claimed responsibility for the incident.
