Incident Summary:

10/09/2015: Assailants attacked an unspecified number local police checkposts in Dasht-e-Nezan area, Pashtun Zarghun district, Herat province, Afghanistan. Eleven people, including a civilian and ten assailants, were killed and five other people, including two police officers and three assailants, were injured in the ensuing clash. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Taliban.
